Join us on June 10 to kick off Newsletter Nerd Club - a conversation and community of folks who want to run great newsletters.
Let's get together to show off some newsletters, share ideas about audiences and format and tools, get tips, ask for (and get) advice.
Newsletter Nerd Club is a free, open and safe conversation with newsletter-y folks (and the newsletter curious) from non-profits, news organizations and other outposts of the newsletter world.
- When: Noon Eastern on Tuesday, June 10th.
- Where: On Zoom. Register to get the link.
- What: We will show off our newsletter work (if you have something to share and are a bit brave). Let us know when you register and we'll get you more details.
We'll ask and answer questions about newsletters. We'll talk about who's doing cool shit, what's working, and what's not.
We'll share ideas about tests to run, finding audiences, design, ads, and maybe even font sizes (because you can't be too specific when describing what might come up in a conversation like this). - Why: Because there are some good and successful newsletters out there in our space but there could and should be many more. Newsletters can help our organizations reach new people, build loyalty, inform, excite, engage and (do tell!) even help raise money. Let's learn together and have some fun doing it.
This will be fun (or at least not boring 😄), useful, and you'll meet at least three 3️⃣ newsletter people. I think you'll meet more but three seems safe.
